Your job:training your eyes to see
We begin the year off with some practice drawings to better train our eyes to truly see.  The eyes are the most important body part in drawing... your brain is the enemy!  You think you know what that toy in front of you looks like, you don't!  You will create a number practice drawings which you will compile into a Google Slide presentation and then upload that to Showbie.  

Then you will create a final piece of work inspired by the work of Jim Dine.  Especially important to pay attention to in these drawings is how Dine works his backgrounds to make his tools (in our case toys) blend in reverse with his background.
